hello. Im looking for good fiction books. since I havent finished many books I guess Im looking for cant miss, sure thing, books.

really, really liked:
Shutter Island
No Country for Old Men

didnt care for:
The Road
Dean Koontz's Frankenstein book 1 Prodigal Son

I'd like to stay away from horror unless its really outstanding. no sci-fi or fantasy please.

Keep in mind I haven't read any of the books you mentioned but here goes :) Check out what Amazon has to say and maybe you'll get an idea if you'd like any of these:
