I HAVE JUST DISCOVERED
A NEW AUTHOR; MARIA RIHTE
and her debut novel VILLAGE OF SYCAMORE.
IT IS A FANTASTIC READ. I could not put this book down. I was hooked immediately when I started reading the very first page.
It is full of fantastic characters, twisted plot that hooks around your mind, strong female main character, wonderfully written with details into artist's life and no wonder, because the writer herself has been an artist.
The characters remain in your mind after you close the cover and you wish so much that the book would be an extra 300 pages long, so that you did not have to say goodbye, when you have turned to the very last page.
Amazing debut novel - She will be the one to watch and I am sure to wait like a hawk for her next novel. Meanwhile I'll give this book to all my friends for their birthdays.
