Hi all,

I have recently got back into reading and have been lucky enough to find a fantcastic new novel called 'Dandelion.' I was wondering if anybody else has read this book yet?

Not giving too much away, the book follows an estate agent who finds a lost piece of World War Two history. The book was so cleverly written as it weaves modern day with the second world war era. A very clever and surpising ending. I got my copy on Amazon (as it had a picture of a Spitfire on the cover, I had to buy it) Would recommend to anybody, let me know if any of you guys has aslo read it.

Regards

Adam

This is my review of the book from the Swindon Advertiser South Marston Section.

A truly amazing new book has gone on sale on a number of internet sites including Amazon. It is written by Gavin Hoffen a former local Estate Agent and Aircraft enthusiast.

It is called Dandelion and no explanation of the name is needed once the reader enters the clandestine world of MI5, modern day and war time Britain.

The author takes you on a journey that will keep you 'hooked', never knowing where you are being taken or at times why. It is a masterpiece of intrigue, humour and tragedy. It is a gripping book that keeps you guessing right until the end.

The penultimate paragraph will simply 'blow you away', you will in no way expect what is to come. My wife who has also read the book cannot speak to highly of it. Google Gavin's name, there are already reviews out there, all extolling the books virtue's, and rightly so.

This book would make a wonderful series or film, in the vane of the 39 Steps or Ice Station Zebra. If you like books based on historical fact and rumour this book is for you.

In two word this book is, a 'MUST READ'.
