Review of Fetish Eyez Only
Fetish Eyez Only by Queen Myasia Whitmore is an erotic adult fiction novel. The book explicitly describes fetishes and follows a group of characters with occupations such as stripping and sex-working. The book includes other adult themes, such as drugs, alcohol, and physical and sexual abuse. The book will appeal to readers with an open mind who are not easily offended by profanity and extreme sexual content.
Ebony, Cherry, Sassi, and Desire form Dollarz Unlimited Entertainment. This business offers the unique skills of the four businesswomen and friends. These four beautiful women are accomplished exotic dancers and offer extra adult services for a high price. Their earnings come with risks as they deal with customers with strange fetishes, some more tolerable than others. One customer is obsessed and aroused by blood and can’t resist a woman when she is menstruating. Another client is a pyromaniac and poses a danger with his infatuation with flames. Cherry has a young son and a turbulent relationship with her son’s father, Ty. Cherry still loves Ty despite his abuse and infidelities. Ty runs with criminals and chooses damaged women to manipulate, abuse, and sleep with. Romance, revenge, desperation, and death lie within the pages alongside eroticism and the extremes of human desire.
This book contains powerful female characters working in the adult sex industry. In some respects, their work seems to empower them, enabling them to earn big money to support their families and enjoy a comfortable life. In other ways, their lifestyle incorporates alcohol and drug taking and having to deal with customers with unthinkable fetishes. The author has captured both sides of a sex-working profession, describing the risks, the advantages, and the consequential reliance on substance abuse. The book contains the worst cases of sexual perversion. Some of the themes in the book are examples of the worst things that can happen in life and certainly give the reader a lot to digest. The author has written a novel without restrictions and hasn’t been afraid to shock the audience. I suspect the book will only appeal to a small audience who are not easily offended.
The sexual acts, particularly the fetishes described in the book, are not for the faint-hearted. There is immense detail of acts that are niche. Even as an open-minded reader, I found some scenarios hard to stomach. The language is as explicit as the sexual acts, which I found to be repetitive and hard to read. The language used between characters indulging in sexual gratification is not enticing or arousing but crude and vulgar. Particular parts of the book describe extreme sexual disorders that may be too much for many readers.
The book contains typographical errors and would benefit from another round of editing. I enjoyed the different characters in the book and how their backstories intertwine them. The story provides unexpected twists and connections. The book delivers shock value, and I enjoyed the unexpectedness of the events. I found the erotic scenes to be more stomach-turning rather than stimulating. The book goes to dark places in the world of fetishes, and I found some of these areas to be unpleasant and uncomfortable to read. All things considered, I give the book 3 out of 5 stars.
