Question about a few series'

Post by Blazingice0608 »

So i have this kind of strange OCD type thing about reading series' where i like to read them in order obviously, but all in a row, without reading other books in between. Thats fine, but it kind of gets me into trouble with series like Alex Cross, as well as all the other detective series out there like Jack Reacher, and the ones from Robert Crais, etc. but also a lot of the politcal thriller authors like Flynn, Thor, etc. So my question is, which series of that nature dont really need to be read all in a row like that. For example all the sci fi/fantasy series, and series like anne rice's Vampire Chronicles are sort of like one long story seperated into several books, or a trilogy in many cases. But some of these series like alex cross dont really have a lot to do with each other aside from a few small things that arent really a big deal. So im trying to figure out which of the following series have books that should be read all together:

1.Alex Cross(Patterson)
2.Daniel Silvia's series
3.Vince Flynn series(seems like ive heard these have a lot to do with each other)
4. Robert Crais series
5. Michael Connely series
6. Jack Reacher series(Lee Child)
7. Michael Bennet(Patterson)

Thats all i can think of at the moment, any input here would be greatly appreciated, i realize its sort of an odd request to have, lol. Also, any input on those series as far as whether or not they are good or bad would be great too, thanks.

Well if you randomly read the Breaking Dawn, you would not be able to understand the book so I would say the Twilight saga is one of those series. What say?

W.E.B. Griffin for military books, Twilight, possibly Star Wars if you're into sci fi.
