CREEPERS: by David Morrell

Post by Slipstream »

I Just finished this book in a few days and it was incredible. If anyone is looking for a thriller/horror/adventure book this one is it!!! I really didn't think it would be that special but I was hooked and could not put it down which usually never happens.
Creepers are the people who explore abandoned houses, hotels, subway tunnels, factories, and old department stores. It is highly illegal and there are a lot of fines and penalties out there for those people that get caught, not to mention the danger that an abandoned building poses; have the floors rotted away, will there be homeless people hiding in the corners, and what wild animals have found a way in out of the weather?
If anyone is looking for something new to try, PICK IT UP. You will not be disappointed.

I bought it at Chapters so it should be in any major book store. He is a NY times best seller so he isn't a nobody author. His most famous book being First Blood which of course spawned the Rambo movies.

All I can say is that you will NOT be disappointed. I saw it was online at amazon.

His early books are way better than what he writes today. His new books suck. But his old books are just amazing. Absolutely great books (First Blood, Brotherhood of the Rose). I didn't like Creepers though. He's a great spy novel author. But when he tried to copy Stephen King's style, he sucks - he writes for money.
