Hi guys i needed your opinions about the book The twilight of american culture by morris berman

Can you guys answer these questions:

1. Why does Berman think that American culture is in serious decline?
2.What solution does he propose?
3.Is german too hard on America or is he right about its decline

Not that I have read the book, but I can tell you myself we're pretty much all on the decline, it's definitely not limited to America. Western culture suffers from failing capitalism and is destined to go through major changes very soon whereas there are also still people with weapons willing to spread their faith and beliefs by force.

We adore money which is basically some scraps of paper, most of it made up from thin air, major human qualities vanish while stupidity, arrogance and narrow view of the world gains the upper hand... yeah, I could talk hours about this, I'll rather try to do something about it.
