A Must Read.

Post by JonnyBoy »

Hi everyone,

I’ve been reading the suggestions for upcoming books to read and I’d like to make one of my own. I just read this book called Stories of Little Women and Grown-Up Girls by Sonia Rivera-Valdes. As you might be able to tell from the title, it’s a book of short stories. I usually don’t read story collections but this one sounded unique. And it was. It was unlike anything I’ve read before. The language the author uses is so beautiful. It’s very descriptive and very emotional. The first few stories are about a girl named Ana, and I really came close to crying while reading the third one.

I happened to find this book while I was browsing on Amazon, they suggested it to me as one of those “If you liked this book, you might also like these books”. I found the book on Barnes and Noble as well but if you’re not a member, you can get it at Amazon for a little less ; ) I loved the book so much I started looking to see if I could find any other books like this one. I found some by other authors I want to check out on the publisher’s website, but I’m still waiting for the new ones to arrive : ) All the synopses and other info are there, here’s the link to Stories of Little Women and Grown-Up Girls if you want to check it out: link. Let me know what you all think, I would love to discuss this book with other people!! :D

The manner in which you write about this book seems so honest and heartfelt. I'm curious now  Thank you very much for the recommendation, I'm going to go and get this book. I will be happy to discuss the book with you :) Barnes and Noble is awesome by the way. :)
