Sins of The Soul by Eve Silver Review

This was the second book in the Otherkin series. I honestly found it a bit weak in writing style compared to the first book. There was too much emphasis on the sexual aspect again and to me, that just takes away from what would be a great paranormal story. The plot twist toward the end with Izanami did take me by surprise. I do no want to give anything away but lets just say familial issues are brought to light with regards to another character. I found that to be the coolest part of the entire story and honestly did not see it coming. I did kind of see this particular ending coming with this installment and it left off at a sort of cliffhanger but the "love conquers the grave" thing was a bit predictable. I have one more left in this series to read and I am hoping things get wrapped up nicely because I am afraid I will be left hanging with no real resolution. I also have to just say that Sutekh is a sadistic SOB but I kind of liked his role in this book a bit better. Sons and Fathers should have healthy competition even if it is for souls. Not a bad read but the writing could have been a bit stronger.
