There was certainly no shortage of strong and relatable female characters in this book and I, for one, applaud this.

My favorite character was Claire. She was so sweet and loving, but also a very intelligent child. She really enhanced the book and added humor to it.

The character I admire the most is Claire because she has affectionate character and loves the people near her. She has inspiring and positive outlook.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

My favorite character was Claire. She brought so much fun and life to a story that could have been extremely depressing.

Claire was my favorite character and every time she said, “Maaaa,” I was like Awwww. But overall I liked all the female characters in this book.

Hillary was my favorite character in the story. The way she responds to murders and deaths in the world around her during her tour to Ireland shows that she relies upon fate for all her actions and moves. I appreciate her love for homeland and the motive of visiting it with a serious theme of writing!

Very insightful assessments. I agree with you! Encapsulated in these four women, you almost have the maiden/mother/crone, followed up with a fierce Druid warrior-woman! :)

I have a soft spot for women who are strong, can hold it together, yet loving and affectionate. Hence, Sarah is my best character.

I see my self in Ed. I mean, his ability to execute his fatherly duties amidst pressure is outstanding. It takes a gentleman to be so patient with the kids and stand with Hillary, his wife, in all that she undergoes.
