Interesting Use of Foreshadowing

I like realising the foreshadowed parts in the later parts of the book and finding the puzzles pieces finally fit with the puzzle and seeing the bigger picture. Feeling the satisfaction and giddiness after understanding the story better.

What an interesting observation! I haven't actually spotted that but now that this had been pointed out, I must agree that this was masterfully done. I did, indeed, think that Sarah's arrangements were somewhat ominous but I did not put the 2 and 2 together until now :lol:

In Chapter Three, Hillary's publisher, Roger, pretty much told everyone about Dermot Connolly and what a bad hat he was. I'm not sure I would call it "foreshadowing" as there was nothing subtle about it. Overall I found the plotline very predictable, but I enjoyed the telling of the tale.
