Icon Hillary knows Karate

House of Eire by June Gilla, the Mistry Novel.

A belated Honeymoon after 10 years of marriage turns into real Halloween, Hillary and her husband accompanied by precocious preteen daughter, Claire, and her elderly friend Sarah to the Island. Apart from the honeymoon Hillary is also invited to be matron of honor for her friend Bridget Murphy.
Unfortunately things did not go has expected they ended up discovering the tombs of the Dead, to wrap up my side of interest to the story, Hillary remains devastated by Bridget’s death (“Guilt weighed on Hillary’s shoulders. She should have gotten to Bridget sooner. While she had a chance to help”). Gillam does violate the rule of Chekhov’s gun: Hillary states that she knows karate and can take care of herself.
Do we expect Hillary to be in action in the next book?.
