I love science fiction and Project Tau didn't disappoint. I love the writing style and how the suspense in the book, especially from the creature with the invincibility feature.
I am still reading the book but I'd readily give it a 4 out of 4 rating based on the pages I have flipped so far.

I really like the overall premise and execution of the novel. I'm actually a bit of a biologist so seeing this degree of technological advancement in something so intrinsic to biological research such as cloning and genetic engineering is fascinating. It also reminds me of the latest Jurassic World Movie (no spoilers in case you haven't read the book or watched the movie).

I loved reading what everybody was thinking about the book. I however didn't read it. I kind of wasn't attracted enough to the premise of it. And to be completely honest sci-fi is my least favorite genre to read or even watch in movies.

Code: Select all

I loved how the author showed the effect of greed and selfishness on others. Kalin finds himself in a tangle owing to his naiveté. He goes on to trust the greedy Mason. That decision marks the end of his normal life. Project Tau is both intriguing and thought provoking. I believe anyone can enjoy this book despite their reservations.

I love the way all the different aspects each person had was described through science rather than a basic, easy alien or supernatural definition. It really brought to life the scales we might be able to go with science in the future.

I really enjoyed Project Tau. I gave it a 4 out of 4 stars because it was an enjoyable read that held my attention. I liked the way the author injected humor while still showing the dark situation the characters faced. I don't recommend this book for those who are sensitive about profanity or abuse in their reading.

I've always been fascinated by sci-fi books but this one has surpassed all those I've read. This is the topmost cream on the milk. I found it hard to put down once I started reading it. I rate this book an absolute 4 out of 4 stars. It made me even hope to see its movie if there is one. Its a go to and a must read.

It is not my preferred kind of science fiction, but it was a really well-done book with no real errors. I ended up giving it a four star rating, because I did just sit down and read it over a couple of days, something I haven't done in quite some time.
The ending was a little darker than I would have liked. There were too few characters I could even really root for. Tau was the one exception to that. Kalin had become too much Project Kata and had lost too much "humanity", become too like his captors, for me to really like him by the end.

I find this one interesting and make me think a lot about what might happen in our future. It also points out how selfish we humans are for others and for own species. This one make me feel like I am watching a movie. But honestly, I don't think it is too special and the book is predictable. So I think I like to rate it 3 out of 4 stars.
