Project Kata had an incredible speed which was a bit scary. He was intelligent and always had his moves calculated which made it suspense filled.

project Kata was definitely awesome. His hidden intelligence coupled with his ability to be invisble helped fueled the suspense.

I think Mason, as the mastermind of the institute and the experiments, was unpredictable and sinister. He gave the go-ahead for the experimentation on Kalin. He was a frustrated general who thought he was God.

I was in awe of Tau’s strength. He was so well trained that he didn’t consider what he could do with it, but I kept wondering if he would snap and tear up one of the training rooms, especially towards the end when he was starting to become more self aware.

Kata made the whole story suspenseful. He was quick on acting under any situation and his moves were quite unpredictable.

I think Dr. Renfield's role at the beginning of the story contributed a great deal to the suspense in the story. Tau's strength also did.

Project Kata is the Backbone of this Novel. The courage to break out was his strength. I was overwhelmed by this character each time I read.

The part where my suspense was peaked was kata using his intelligence to plan his escape unknown to others and how he carefully executed it kept me on edge throughout

Kata's speed and stealth and Tau's strength could add to the suspense. They could have been very dangerous if they wanted to.

Being in the same room with Project Kata, not knowing what Kata can do to you, can be frustrating and scary. I think that’s what Dennison experienced in the mission to search for Project Kata. What other characters’ quality contribute to the suspense in the story?
I think Kata's speed was scary also. Knowing how fast he was and that he could keep himself camouflaged I think Dennison had to have been terrified, and rightfully so!
It is true that Kata was intimidating. But the fact that even at the brink of his death in front of the Projects, Denninson acted as if he was superior to these beings and believed they would obey him. The audacity in this man is scary.
