I liked Dr Renfield. Despite being a scientist, he wasn't as inhumane as the rest.

Project Tau is the obvious choice. However, Kalin is very close, so perhaps the two of them, their friendship is my favourite character cluster.

Renfield was my favorite, because he evolves throughout the book. In the beginning, he was a typical scientist. Maybe not so bright since he should have picked up on subtle human traits or Kata’s blatant witty humor their Projects don’t have. But, it finally clicks, and he becomes a sub hero in the story. I was horrified when I found out what happened to him. Hated that he left the story. RIP Renfield

I liked Renfield too, and I was sorry to see him die in the end. However, in the total makeup of the story, it was a realistic end for him. Hopefully, there will be other characters to carry on his noble and fair ideas.

I agree with you, his character has that spark to continue a good story to its climax

Indeed, Project Tau is the whole reason of the book, and series. I look forward to seeing how he will evolve. I am sure he will become better than all the natural-born human characters in the series.

My favourite would be Tau for his display of bravery. He is also smart and curious, although his character would let him be.

My favorite character is Dr Renfield. Without him, the story would have changed a lot. I like his sense of fairness.

Definitely it's my best character in project Tau is Kalin Taylor. The story centers around Taylor. From getting scholarship into prestigious Sanderson College of Arts and Science to study medicine to trying to join a fraternity.

My favorite character should be Taylor. The development of Taylor was good. The author was able to explain his personality. Taylor is a student on scholarship in a college. He was so eager to join a fratanity. I also like Dr Renfield.

Definitely Project Tau! I fell in love with his human traits (ironically enough). He reminded me a lot of my own views on humanity.

Project Tau was my favorite character. His character development from a meek little boy to a brave young man was remarkable. His childlike innocence and curiosity was a sweet addition to the style. Other than being bold and resilient, his reasoning for his action was commendable. :techie-studyinggray:
