I was gripped by Tau's kind and innocent character from the beginning of the book.

My favorite character was definitely Tau. It was cool to watch him progress, grow and learn for himself. It was like watching a child row up

I would say I am torn between tau and renfield because without Ren field the book wouldn’t have been so captivating and the childlike behavior of tau was so relatable

I prefer Tau, especially how his character progressed and what he represented.

My favorite character was Kata because he went through more but was resilient nonetheless, he found a way to move forward with courage despite everything.

My favorite character will have to be Tau, his character developed as the story did, he was like a child learning new things and growing which is so refreshing. Dr. Renfield was also outstanding but Tau is my first choice.

I'll echo many people's comments and say that my favorite character was Tau. He grew and changed the most throughout the novel which is always a fantastic sign of character development. He was one of the most dynamic characters and definitely won my vote.

My favorite character was Kata. His character development was amazing to watch. The distances he went to save Tau deserves admiration. Tau was also awesome.

I personally liked Renfield the most. He was clearly flawed, but his search for the truth about Project Kata was my favorite plot thread. And I just like a heaping serving of sass.

He was quite naive indeed. Kata pushed Tau to undesirable depths and in consequence unpleasant things occurred.

For me, it is a tie between Kata and Tau since I found both of them to be very relatable to me personally, but if I had to pick just one, I have to go with Kata only because I loved his sarcastic personality.

Kata was my favorite character. He was such a smart aleck and he kept it up outwardly for a long time. Even when they “convinced” him not to be, he still did small things that reminded us of his humanity.
