Dr. Renfield would be my pick. His contribution was very significant to the plot (his investigations).

Project Tau ended up being my favorite character. His personal growth and seeing him go from obedient soldier to killing everyone who had a hand in his abuse was really pleasing to me. I also found him more of an enjoyable person to "be" around. Though Kata/Kalin is a great character, I found him very frustrating at times. Tau was the majority of the time a great friend to Kata and he was a strong person/clone and I hope he continues to grow in the next book(s)

My favorite character was Kata. I also liked Tau but Kata was strong willed and a 100% brave and by far my best character.

I go for Tau. His decision making was superior and he appeared very understanding under tight situations.

My favorite character was Tau; his growth throughout the book was admirable. He went from a meek little boy to a strong individual who knows his rights. His character arc is perfectly written.

The protagonist Tau;was my favorite. He managed to deal with every stuation he encountered. I was amused in the end when he finally vacated KATA.

Taylor is my favorite character. I like the way the author explained his plot. He was On scholarship studying, and he wants to join a fraternity. He was given a task to enter the science lab and take a photo inside. This is the beginning of his struggle in school.

Tau's personal growth makes him a particularly interesting character.

My favorite character was Kata since he went through more but still persevered nonetheless despite everything which was particularly admirable.

My favorite character was Dr. Renfield because he tried his best to save Kalin Taylor/Project Kata. Renfield took off of work in order to get to the bottom of where Kalin come from, if he was a real person, and what truly happened to him. He knew Mason was lying about the memory implants, and he even visits Kalin's parents and the frat boy that was responsible for getting Kalin into trouble. Renfield truly done everything in his power to help Kalin. He was a scientist who possibly tortured other projects, but he changed his ways by wanting to help Kalin and Project Tau. He was punished and killed trying to save their lives, and that is a sign of redemption.

My favorite would have to be Dr. Renfield. He started as a villain but he had an amazing redemption arch that I wish was not ended so sone.
