Exactly. Respect begets respect.
I absolutely agree with you. Clones are supposed to be treated the exact same way as humans rather than given undeserved treatment. I think this is unfair and obviously warrants rebellion. Furthermore, if humans can treat clones, which look exactly like humans, unfairly then they can certainly treat a human being just as horribly.
Happy reading,

Well, this is not something knew for me because most of the people beautiful from outside but they are dark in inside. Even some one that you shared the same glass with, can mistreat any how.

It is disturbing to think about the ugliness of people who can commit atrocious acts upon others. The torturous acts performed in the book are cruel and dehumanizing. Mason and Dennison trying to dehumanize Kalin was pretty ugly and disturbing.

So disturbing it should come with a trigger warning.

I never understand characters who want to hurt people just because they want to and justify it in some form. What's really scary is how there are people like that in the real world.

Scattered throughout the book are various instances with varying degrees of the dark side of humans. This only proves that with the right setting humans can be really inhumane

The ugliest part was how they were treated more like objects and not like living beings. Kalin was dehumanized. They fully knew that Kalin was an innocent student, yet they continued. It shows a very dark side of humans. It is disturbing to think humans are capable of this.

To me, their slavish treatment was a no-no.

The darkest of them all was Denninson and his character. How arrogant and bent-in-the-head should he be, even after all the torture and pain he inflicted on Tau, he expects him to believe he did it for Tau's best interests? Where do you find characters as sadistic and mental as this guy?

Sadly, the human mind can be such an ugly thing, and it's something that we've seen throughout our own history. One of the things that grossed me out was what they did to Kalin to dehumanize him.
I agree! The idea of just having people who are capable of doing that is just insane.

The act was gory. I nearly smelt the blood split.

In pursuit for perfection, the humans overworking the clones like Kalin was quite worrisome.

The mutilation was worst of all. Chopping Kalin's finger tips was brutal.

In my own comprehension of the book, humans can be sadistic and barbaric under the right ambiance.

I know! It made me cringe! A person's nailbeds are so sensitive anyway and to have the end of your fingers cut off and claws put in just makes me shiver!
