Among other things the ending shows how much Tau and Kata have changed. It was interesting that Kata says he is not crazy, the system has just taught him to tap into his dark side and use it when he needs to. I think Tau may still be innocent enough to regret the necessity of killing his captors.

I feel the ending did not do enough justice to Kalin, even though he was successful in taking revenge against most people involved in causing pain to him. Kalin had eventually lost himself forever in the process of killing all the culprits.

The ending was justifying for me, at least Kalin killed those who caused irreversible pain on him.

Actually, I am not satisfied enough by the ending, because I feel that the Justice is not to the fullest as I expect. It should have been up to what they did to them.

The damage done to Kalin by them is irreversible. That's why killing those people is like a favor to them because they will not feel as much pain as Kalin did.

Tho they spared one person, the justice they got wasn't enough compared to everything they went through, i'm glad they got their justice. I felt satisfied by the end.

the ending was very satisfying, although no amount of killings can bring back all that they had lost. Also, it was sad that Renfield died.

They delivered a well deserving justice after all they have been put through most especially the dehumanizing of Kalin. The fact they spared one shows they were still in touch with their emotions.

Tau and Kata felt they had acted justly by killing all those who had participated in their torture. The problem with killing off all the characters is that it necessitates a whole crowd of new characters in the next book!

I feel killing those people was an easy punishment for them as it wasn’t compared to what Tau and Kata went through. I was partially satisfied with the ending.

Although the ending seems to be justified, but not being a fan of violence, I found myself skipping some lines.

I think the book ended nicely. The killing of those scientists is really justified to avenge the tortures they went through from them. I am also glad they left one of them alive.

I loved the ending, it was topnotch. Justice served right. Though I'm thinking there'll still be a comeback because of the scientist that escaped. Let's just see how it all unfolds.

The ending served its purpose but sparing one scientist sounded selective!

I totally agree with you. This left a taste of something familiar in me. A foreboding for a sequel. Just saying.
