Do you agree? And which one of these books would you rather read during a crisis?
Yes I do agree... Both books deal with the themes of grace and redemption. And I think that's what we all need at the end of the day

I can definitely see where both those themes are present in the books, as they definitely deal with the grace and redemption of God, especially in a crisis. I'm not sure if I can choose between them, though.MorganKnightOfficial wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 07:42 This book, in the sense that "grace and mercy" is a large theme in the book, reminded me a lot of "The Shack", as both books deal with God's grace and redemption, as well as finding God within a crisis.

The shack is overcoming that dilemma.

Yes!! I very much see some similarities to “The Shack”. I think both of these books are beneficial, I necessarily wouldn’t choose one over the other, I guess it’s more of a situational based decision. I also think “A Grace Disguised” by Jerry Sitzer, is another book that’s would be helpful to read during a crisis.MorganKnightOfficial wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 07:42 This book, in the sense that "grace and mercy" is a large theme in the book, reminded me a lot of "The Shack", as both books deal with God's grace and redemption, as well as finding God within a crisis.
