Huh. I see what you mean, and in this sense I agree. He does. a good job of building on the foundation that story.DominicVenditti wrote: ↑02 Jun 2020, 16:16 I don't think that maybe what the author was going for. The book does cover much of biblical history but it focuses on what happens as a result of Kain killing Abel, so, in that sense, it makes sense because the rest of the story couldn't happen without that taking place.
Also because it tends to capture as much attention as it can.

I know, the name was intense enough to keep me interested but soft enough to not be too graphic.gabrielletiemi wrote: ↑02 Jun 2020, 08:01I agree with you. At first, I thought that it might be a detective novel or a crime fiction. Still, the title made me go after what the book was about.ArriettyClock wrote: ↑02 Jun 2020, 07:21 The title did make me think that it was a crime drama rather than a religious book. I think the title should reflect the content of the book more.
Which interested me more because I'm a detective/thriller typa person

Sometimes you start writing a book and you’ve chosen a title already but the book seems to write itself.

The title actually attracted me to try reading it. I think it's catchy but misleading

Then why not change it later? After the book has completed writing itself?
Most times I rely on the title to give me an idea of what the book is about.
So that I have an idea which direction I'm being taken.
