Re: Book title

I think the book title for me wasn't right for me. There are a lot of issues covered in the book not just Abel.

The book does cover much of biblical history but it focuses on what happens as a result of Kain killing Abel, so, in that sense, it makes sense because the rest of the story couldn't happen without that taking place.
Huh. I see what you mean, and in this sense I agree. He does. a good job of building on the foundation that story.
Also because it tends to capture as much attention as it can.

For someone who is not familiar with the book, I find the title very catchy. With this title, I would've picked it up to take a closer look if I'd first seen it in a bookstore.

I agree with you. At first, I thought that it might be a detective novel or a crime fiction. Still, the title made me go after what the book was about.
I know, the name was intense enough to keep me interested but soft enough to not be too graphic.
Which interested me more because I'm a detective/thriller typa person

I think the title could raise a lot of questions, but personally I didn't have any problem with it. What I guessed was what it turned to be.

The title is catchy and made me interested to know what the book was about, but it does not give cover the theme fully. I thought it was just about Cain and Abel.

When I first saw the title I assumed the entire book would be about Cain, beginning with when and why he killed Abel. I was surprised it began with Adam and Eve. Maybe because they were the parents of Cain and because they sinned it opened the door for Satan to enter into mankind's lives. Anyway, I think the title could have been more original based on the contents of the book.

I think the author's intention was to capture attention and it accomplishes that perfectly.

I think the title really catches attention. But from the comments here, maybe the title does not completely symbolize what the book is about.

Sometimes you start writing a book and you’ve chosen a title already but the book seems to write itself.

The title actually attracted me to try reading it. I think it's catchy but misleading

Sometimes you start writing a book and you’ve chosen a title already but the book seems to write itself.

Then why not change it later? After the book has completed writing itself?

Most times I rely on the title to give me an idea of what the book is about.

So that I have an idea which direction I'm being taken.
