Because the book does not majorly concentrate on Abel, it's covers the Bible all the to the time of Noah.
I actually also noted this when reading. The title makes it seem as though the book will revolve around the creation up to the Abel's murder, but it's much more than that. I really do think the title didn't do the book justice.

I think the title is okay. I also wondered about it, but it made more sense the more I read. If Cain hadn't killed Abel, life would have followed a different part. At least in this story.

Although the book is way more than the title and the story is beyond the death of Abel, I can't think of another title that will call as much attention as the killing Abel has done. I think the title is imperfectly perfect

The book barely focuses on Abel. Rather it focuses initially on Adam and Eve, their daughters, Cain and then Noah. So any other name would have been apt.

I loved the book title. The story extended well and most of the happenings were from Abel's death. Though I wonder what would have happened if he didn't die so young

Initially, I also felt as if the book wasn't titled correctly but I think the title was apt because the murder of Abel was the birth of evil within man I guess

Actually, I would have preferred a different title than Killing Abel. Abel wasn't the protagonist in the entire story. Cain was found in most places. Maybe something related to Cain could have been the title.

I feel the same way too. The book's title didn't capture the essence of the stories. It just took only Cain and Abel's part. What of Adam and Eve?

The title is adequate because the book mainly illustrates the consequences of the first capital crime. Even if the author did not focus on Abel, his death has led to a change in the future of humankind, especially the criminal justice system.

I think it is. It reflects the discussion that runs through out the book, the flaw with man. I don't think eating the fruit alone was enough to show us how wicked man could get after falling.

For one, the title really is catchy as that is what drew my interest. And yes, the title correct because every other thing that happened was directly/indirectly related to the death of Abel.

I thought the title was a good one, as the act of killing Abel was pivotal to the rest of the story.

The title of the book captivated me. Although there is more of Noah's story than Abel's in the book. I still think the title is a good one

I seriously do think the title of this book limits the scope of the entire book. At first I thought I would be reading on about Cain and Abel.
