I belive that the title "Killing Abel" is ment to show that the narrative is based of the bible but has some controversy to it and that it is trying to provocate the audience.

The title of a book should be catchy and captivating which I think "killing Abel" did.

I faulted the title too. It seemed like it centered only on Cain and Abel bit it was more of a whole creation story for me. This did not change the fact that this book was still a joy to read.

The title seems appropriate to me, because Abel's death was the first intentional killing done in humanity. Sin started with Adam and Eve, but murder, started with the killing of Abel. And everything in the book seems to veer toward this point.

The Title of this book caught my attention but I do think the author should have used a more appropriate title that covers the entire content of this book.

Yes. Indeed it is. It's very eye-catching. And it encapsulates the whole story of Adam and Eve, with the inclusion of the first sin and Cain's irredeemable sin. It's very fitting because most of us know the story, we already know what we're reading about.
I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Yolo!

I believe this book title might not be entirely correct, and I personally would not have used the title the author did, but it did correlate with the content of the book enough to be relevant. A major aspect of this book was Cain's action toward Abel, which was killing him, and the actions that followed. The sin that occurred before Cain's birth, which was the Fall of Man through Adam and Eve being exiled from the Garden of Eden, is specifically tied to Cain and his actions. This is because all of this relates to the two trees, which Cain was obsessed with. They were the tree of knowledge, rules and regulation, (Cain) and the tree of life, faith (Abel). Because Cain could not understand how he was to worship and honor God who he could not see, he relied on his rules. And a life with rules and no faith (government) resulted in God needing to hit the restart button on humanity, which is seen through the flood that followed after Cain populated and created a city of just rules (City of Enoch). Therefore, I believe that the titled could fit for this novel since all of it could be tied to Cain killing Abel.

This is one issue with the book. The book's title only covers a fraction of what the book actually contains. The author should have put a general title that will represent the whole book.

I loved the title but it didn’t justify the content well.

The title doesn't suit the book entirely. But it somewhat attracted my attention to read this book. It gave me curiosity.

I love the book title the way it is. The book title is in line with the story. Just that Abel's story is a minor part of the book.

Exactly! I think another broad title would have been better.

Yeah for me the title was one sided. But I think the author selected based on the most catchy story.
