I agree as well. This faithful act on Abel's part went down history-lane to teach subsequent generations a great lesson on faithful giving. Abel is truly a Hero of Faith.

A hero of faith trusts in God's promises, even though they did not see them fulfilled. They trusted that He would keep His word and fulfill them at His appointed time. Abel trusted the promises when he brought his sacrifices. Noah also trusted when he built the ark out in the desert. Even today, believers continue to trust that all of God's promises will be fulfilled.

I agree with you; 100% :tiphat:

I think Abel was judged on the grounds of his sincerity towards God and all the sacrifices he made were in greater interest. That gave him a higher pedestal when it comes to faithfulness in the service of God.

I believe Abel should be the paradigm of being a good Christian. I agree with you but it's not only who Abel demonstrated faithfulness throughout the history of mankind.

Abel is a hero of faith because he chose to please God without even being commanded.

I also agree that it wasn't about Abel's self-righteousness, it was about his faith in God. Faith is a wonderful act. It is a substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Then, it is absolute truth that the seeds of spirituality of a human is what pleases God, not tangible offerings.

That was one of signs of justification by faith. Even in the book of Hebrews 11, Abel was mentioned among the heroes of faith.
