God limits himself because he stays out of our business until we feel the need for him and call upon him. I think also that God is open, he still placed a seal of protection upon Cain after Cain pleaded with him after he was cursed to be a vagabond on the earth.

God is powerful, and God his open and we can't know the will of God or the ways of God just by speculating, These things can only be trusted to be revealed by the spirit

I am happy I came across this book. Initially when I started reading I held onto what I know about God but as I continued reading I became more opened minded and this book changed my perspective on what I thought I knew about God.

If we confuse Gods existence and his ways, let us use something very similar to compare so we will truly understand
Our relationship with God is like the relationship between a parent and a child.
Any parent would love their child except that parent is a devil, that goes to show that God loves us. Now if your child asks you for something and you have the means to give him won't you? Definitely you will. Now if your child exhibits an attitude of asking everytime, without any regards as to how you'd be feeling. All he does is ask ask and ask. How would you feel? At some point won't you want to talk to your child? Get to know what he's up to, what friends he's keeping and possibly have a little rapport with your child. You definitely won't feel too happy about the fact that your child only wants your money lol. That is how I view our relationship with God. We shouldn't only be asking, we should try to know him. He's always there for us. All we need to do is call on him the right way.
Now the difference is He is God. And the King of kings. Imagine you're opportuned to meet a King. You certainly know that you will have to be on your best behaviour, dress appropriately and talk only when necessary. If we can observe all these protocols with men, talk more our Heavenly Father.
God gave us the free will to do good but many times we succumb to our flesh.

I believe that God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. This means that God is in total control of all things, knows all things, and His rule and presence extends to all. With this is mind I believe that God choses to "limit" Himself in the sense of not involving Himself in all of our actions and allows us to act out our desires, whether this be to commit sin or to repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness. All of our lives have already been predestined before our birth, so I do not think that God created beings who are unpredictable, but rather allows man to follow their desires. He takes a step back from His creation and allows us to make our own choices, that is why He is the perfect parent, the Perfect Father.

Just like how our biological parents are open to their children that is how God is open to his children. The problem is that we may cross our line by disobeying him which has its punishment.

The view of God in killing Abel is truly open, more open than anyone could imagine but regardless it's frictional.

Firstly, I do not understand this question, and secondly, I don't think this sort of question should be directed to God.

Everyone seems to believe God from their own unique perspectives, like the author chose to sew him as a parent.

I think that it is only what humans that God chooses to limit Himself. Considering he gave us all the gift of free will, Him wanting a relationship with us despite His unfathomable power means that certain things have to be limited for us to fully come in terms with Him.

Your argument is quite intriguing, and, honestly also quite convincing. Because if God doesn't limit himself and his influence then it really isn't free will. This book sure does potray that.
