I think it's more fictional. God is presented as learning too and there are so many angles and stories which don't match those told in the Bible. There are many ideas presented that are not very religious from a strict point of view. Finally it really isn't a book for children to begin with. It's very adult. It wouldn't be wise to read it to someone who is just discovering or learning biblical stories and principles for the first time.

I would say it is religious because the plot was written to help readers better understand the event that occurred in the true story.

In as much as the author put so much of his imaginations into this book it does not take away how religious this book is. I would still say you should know you bible very well before you read this book.

To me there is a perfect balance between fiction and religion in this book.

I agree. I think it is simply a creative interpretation of the Bible that is a bit more expansive.

This book is religious and all the fictions were not outside the religious ideas.

The book is a fictional novel drawn from a biblical story . It could be very misleading to someone who does not know the true story. If i had to measure, i would say it was 60% fiction and 40% accurate bible story.

This book is more of fictional than religious. Anyone who doesn't know about the Bible might not find it interesting.

The book has religious characters, but the story is fictional. I do not believe that it is suitable for children because the relationships shown in the stories are difficult for them to understand.

The book is fictional but the author's many references to the Bible makes it religious, trying to make it as factual as possible even though it is not. I wouldn't recommend it to those who want more knowledge about the Christian religion because they may end up getting confused as the book itself has a lot of contradictions and inconsistencies in it.

Definitely fiction. An individual's imaginative expansion of theology. No religious or sacred authority should be conferred on it.

I think it's more frictional. And this frictional aspect needs to be emphasised on more and more so the readers won't confuse it with the truth
