This book is more like a science fantasy(if such exists). It was only while there where in Zona I could see the science aspect. The animals and plants species, the test and all.

I think fantasy is preferable. It is easier to understand unlike science fiction and their terms.

I love the scientific part of this book. Everything in the book looked real and unique. The book is a sciencee fiction.

The difference between science fiction and fantasy is how the unrealistic element takes place. For a book to be science fiction, the element has to be discovered or made with help of scientific advancement. For fantasy, it is a magical element or something that is present forever in that world as a common thing. Zona only gets to science fiction in its second part.

I'm currently reading reading this book and I'm almost done. I will say that the book is a blend science fiction and fantasy. Some of the animals can be regarded as pure fantasy. Since it is not a pure science fiction, I think tt shouldn't be judged rigidly by it.

This book's fantasy content outweighs its sci-fi content. The fantasy section is, in my opinion, the most interesting part of the book.

The book is more of a science fiction than fantasy.

I think the science was moderate, doesn't really need to be so elaborate, or cover a great part of the book.

The author added the right amount of the two in the book. Science fiction and fantasy was definitely added to balance the story and make it less boring.

In my perspective, the novel is more science fiction than fantasy. I believe it's fairly typical for a science fiction book to introduce the science fiction component of the book later on.

I really enjoyed how the story evolved and how the sci-fi components were introduced. Because occasionally authors want to introduce more internal struggle before getting to the action section.

One of the key differences between science fiction and fantasy, in my opinion, should be the capacity to directly apply scientific theory to explain the fictional elements. Therefore, I think it was acceptable for the author to offer it in the second part.

I also read a lot of fantasy and science fiction and I believe this book strike me as typical science fiction. Considering the communication with dire wolves in particular, the novel could be seen as fantasy. But we can call it a mixture of both.

It begins with a mystery, develops the characters, and then reveals the science fiction. I thought the explanation for how the plants could affect people in this way was improbable and lacked adequate scientific rigor.

I got the distinct sensation that the novel's genre had shifted throughout my reading of it. Whether the reader considers the assertions made to be sufficiently close to the rules of reality to qualify as scientific or if they seem entirely out of the realm of possible.
