Double Standard: Anti-aging & Accelerated Pregnancies

I didn't notice this while I was reading the book, but now that I think about it, it's really a double standard on the author's part. Besides, is such possible?

I did not really notice this, it just came to my attention right now but I would say it wouldn't change anything for me cus it just adds to the fantasy aspect of the book.

I think this depends on how the reader interpreted it. The accelerated pregnancy was due to the hormones which favored the fast and health development of the babies. While the anti ageing potentials of Zona was to ensure that the resident lived a health life which made them feel stronger and happier. I believe this was intended by the author to show that miracles do happen in Zona and makes it a choice place for improved health demands.

I do not see anything wrong with this, I just feel that it adds to the fantasy and mystery part of Zona, nothing for me to question in that aspect.

I don't believe the author meant for that outcome. The reviews are positive overall. It could also vary depending on the type of reader you are. Both the writer and the reader might have different perspectives on it.
