Ryder on the Storm - Emerald Seer #1 - Violet Patterson

I actually stumbled across this book because I tend to comb the newbie/PubIt/under $5 eBooks on Barnes&Noble and Amazon - I read so much that I can't keep my "habit" going if I don't keep it cheap! Anyway, I read this one, in an effort to "not judge a book by its cover" and am sure glad I did. It is a quick, easy read, the sex scenes are steamy but not too erotic or overdone and I really like what the author has done with the Immortals. I am very eager to read the next installment which, judging by her blog should be out around Christmas! YAY! I know it is a paranormal romance, but it seemed to fit in this category more than the other ones and I would argue that it is fair game for men to read as well (I absolutely made my anti-reading BF read it and he liked it). Hope you all check it out, for $1.99 it was a good read on a rainy afternoon!

Yay! Another HON fan! I've read the other 8, but I haven't gotten around to reading Destined yet!

I don't think we are talking about the same thing. So far there only seems to be one for this series. My friend lent it to me on my nook and I looked it up - just the one though it is noted to be a part of a series. I am not sure what HON is. sorry.
