Star Drive series.

I personally really enjoyed the Star Drive series from TSR. Unfortunately not very many books were written for it.

Seems like most scifi books out there are sort of that scifi opera / post apocalyptic future stuff. I personally have no interest in end of the world books. This may seem like a simple interest but I enjoy a good space battle / laser fight / human vs. alien stuff.

Another good series I have gotten into is the Expanse series from James S. A. Corey. Kind of has that space opera feel to it but has enough going on in it to keep my interest.

I was wondering if anyone has read these books too and has any recommendations of other book series that are similar to the style of scifi that Star Drive and the Expanse Series have.
