This book is about sixteen year old Joe Kendrick’s, who has lots of responsibility for one so young , life that takes a turn towards the unexpected when he meets human/hybrid Sarah Connor. I found this book very enjoyable; it kept me glued right to the last page.

The story follows a science fiction genre with romance thrown into the mix. The book will appeal to both science fiction and romance book lovers who are looking for a good read. The theme of the book is other life forms and the unexplained, but the author does not go over the top so the story is not to far fetched. There is also a touch of action and suspense added for your reading pleasure.

The authors writing style was good and she definitely knows how to write to appeal to an audience, she is a very creative story teller with a good imagination. The book an interesting storyline that insures the reader wants to continue reading. The characters are well represented and fitted to their specific parts perfectly. The characters emotions and actions are heartfelt and realistic for each scenario given. The story flows fluidly from one scene to the other, so there is no confusion along the way of what the story is trying to project. The author makes sure that all parts of the story are understood and that there is no doubt of what is going on in the book.

I thought this book was a good read that kept me intrigued and enthralled with every single page until the very last page. The book has an interesting set of characters that you want to read about and find out how they develop and grow during the course of the story. I would recommend this book to all in a heartbeat, with is captivating / thrilling storyline, out of this world characters, and inability to put the book down once you have started to read it.

This book in my eyes is a must read to all those fans of science fiction and even romance books. I rate this book 4 out of 4.
