Ultimatum Vladimir Jepthe Fleurisma is a dystopian science fiction novel that vividly portrays a catastrophic event caused by humans on a global scale. In this post-apocalyptic world, the depletion of valuable natural resources is just the beginning of the chaos. A disastrous science experiment gone wrong has unleashed a plague and resulted in the creation of deformed and genetically altered animals, bringing about a new order that could have been avoided. The protagonist, a marine named D, is tasked with a critical mission: reaching Three Mile Island no matter the cost. Along the way, he encounters a diverse cast of characters, whose perspectives are shared by an all-knowing narrator.

The story takes place a mere 18 months after the devastating 50-year resource war ended in a nuclear inferno. Now, everyone must confront a formidable new predator that seeks to establish itself as the dominant force in this ravaged world. D, a fearless marine raider, has one simple objective: to reach Three Mile Island. However, this journey is fraught with peril. He must traverse a desolate nuclear wasteland, plagued by perpetual darkness and treacherous winds. It becomes crucial for D to avoid confrontation with the mutated apex creature that controls this unforgiving landscape, as well as to remain cautious of others who share his goal. Failure is not an option for D; he will do whatever it takes to achieve his mission, even if it means eliminating anyone or anything that stands in his way.

What sets this book apart is its ability to engage readers from the very beginning, making it a quick and captivating read that you simply cannot put down. The story is filled with thrilling action and suspense at every turn, interspersed with moments of humor. Fleurisma's attention to detail is exceptional, immersing readers in the world of the novel as if they were watching a movie unfold before their eyes. If you have an affinity for science fiction, this book is a must-read. Its futuristic setting presents a chillingly realistic depiction of a post-apocalyptic era, where survival means enduring hunger, radiation sickness, and avoiding the deadly virus, all while evading the clutches of menacing mutants.

The way the world is going, this could describe our own future. The story sounds very grim and bleak. Not my choice of bedtime reading, but I thanks for writing the review.

This dystopian sci-fi novel offers an exciting plot full of suspense and action. It presents a futuristic world in which a superpredator emerges from genetically mutated animals. I wonder why protagonist D must reach Three Mile Island at all costs. A deadpan narrative in a story like this sounds appealing.

This book completely shows and depicts a man who will be struggling to survive in a world where unknown species emerged. I'm sure that this book, will display a genre of action, sci-fi, and adventure. Thank you for the recommendation. I will most likely read this book for there is nothing more fun to pass the time when you are bored by reading a book with a genre of action.

Dystopian sci-fi genre has its niche of readers. The plot of the book sounds interesting and realistic. Mutant animals and apocalyptic world surely add to the thrill. Despite these, this maynot be a book for me.
The review is exceptionally done! It highlights all the points without any spoilers.

The book excels in creating an immersive narrative with well-developed characters, particularly D, Zach, and Cella. However, comparisons to other works like "Mad Max," "Jurassic Park," and "Ready Player One" raise questions about originality. Nevertheless, "Ultimatum" is a compelling read for sci-fi fans, offering a thrilling journey through a post-apocalyptic world.

I'm captivated by the portrayal of a global disaster in a dystopian sci-fi book. The 50-year conflict for resources that culminated in a nuclear conflagration also piques my curiosity. I'm eager to discover whether a Marine named D can successfully accomplish his mission to reach Three Mile Island under any circumstances.
