When Eve Bonel decides to embark on a quest for a fey named Puck, she is immediately pushed into a fabled, unfamiliar world. Her understanding of the world alters as she sets out on her expedition. In this magical world, Eve faces threats to her life and constantly has to fight to preserve herself as she tries to complete her quest. Join Eve on her adventure and savor the excitement in the pages of Veni, Vidi, Vici (Book 1).

I was utterly engrossed in the story of Eve as Lorena "SKETCH" Monroy masterfully portrayed it in the novel Veni, Vidi, Vici (Book 1). I could feel every emotion discussed in the novel as the author vividly described each scene. It had such descriptive force that I saw the entire narrative unfold before me. Every fight Eve got into exhilarated me, and I sensed her worries and will to fight through them. For pulling off this achievement, Lorena "SKETCH" Monroy deserves plaudits.

I liked the author's use of unexpected aspects in the novel, as it significantly increased the book's suspense. Of all the unexpected events in this book, two particularly stood out: Eve's biological ancestry, which I wasn't anticipating, and the alliances Aelfdene made to achieve his goal. I won't go into details to prevent spoilers.

Although Veni, Vidi, Vici (Book 1) was quite engaging, I did have one massive problem with it — the volume of grammatical faults I found throughout the book. There was nothing else that bothered me. I would suggest that the book undergo another meticulous and expert editing. Therefore, I would rate the book 4 out of 5 stars.

I recommend Veni, Vidi, Vici (Book 1) to fans of fantasy fiction as they would undoubtedly enjoy it. If you also enjoy stories with female lead characters, you will enjoy this one.

Lorena "SKETCH" Monroy's "Veni, Vidi, Vici (Book 1)" immerses readers in Eve's captivating journey into a magical realm. The vivid descriptions evoke a range of emotions, and the unexpected twists heighten suspense. However, the book needs thorough editing due to numerous grammatical errors.
