This book, Prince Gideon, centers on Gideon, who was just coronated as prince. Prince Gideon was always ready to help others. He was also one who believed in building relationships with other lords and lands around him. He formed alliances with other lords. And it turns out that those relationships ended up playing an important role for him and his city. The question is, for how long will he save his city? Would he really defeat evil?

There are so many positive aspects to this book, one of which is the author's writing style. Gary Caplan writes with his readers in mind. Prince Gideon by Gary Caplan is a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It requires a lot of attention, as there are details and narratives that one may not appreciate if one does not pay enough attention. The author, through the use of simple and easy-to-understand words, weaves a tale that takes the reader to a world where only he and the characters in the book exist.

One beautiful thing about the author is that he knows what to say and just how to say it. He uses his words to draw you in, even without your knowing it. This book by Gary Caplan shows that we all need help at one point or another, and with that help from others, we would do more than we could ever have done if we were left on our own. Another positive aspect are the lessons to be learned in the book. This book teaches building good and effective relationships, as those relationships may end up saving you.

My only issue with the book is that I didn't quite appreciate how it ended. There is so much I would love to know about Prince Gideon or Lord Dormas' plans. Hopefully, there will be a sequel to this.

A few errors were noted in the book; it was professionally written. Added to the positives already identified, I will be rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to every lover of ancient magic. This book will also be suitable for lovers of scifi.
