Demon/Angel Love story?

Post by Judai »

Hi guys^^

I wanted to know if anyone knows a good book about a Demon/Angel relationship. It seems I had'nt much luck with my search because I couldn't even find one book with that theme (it can't be that no author ever touched this topic right?).
I would appreciate the help. :)

Hmm I have never come across that type of book and I read a lot of romances of all kinds. If you find something share the titleplease!

Hmmmm I know of a lot of books that involve angels but I don't really know of any that have angels and demons. The closest book series that I could come up with would be the Cal Leandros series by Rob Thurman. There is a minor character named Robin, whose really funny by the way :P, but instead of a demon he's actually a puck, or a trickster, which some people actually compare to a demon. And in the series he develops a love interest with Ishiah, a peri, which means he's half angel half demon. (Warning: If you do not like same sex relationships then I would not recommend this series. Though he's only a minor character he actually has a lot to do with the series. Nothing graphic is ever written about their relationship though so it's up to you). If you like the TV show supernatural then I'd definitely give this series a try. It's pretty awesome :D

Thanks for the answers^^

It seems like I actually had luck today. I found a fairly new trilogy (well, "almost trilogy"; the third book has yet to be released) named "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" written by Laini Taylor. The female protagonist is a Chimaera and the male protagonist is an angel. What starts with enmity eventually develops into a romantic relationship. Well, I've read a few pages and it seems pretty interesting so far, but maybe someone else who actually has already read the two books could verify if it's worth the time. :)

I think that the Sweet Series, the first is called Sweet Evil, by Wendy Higgins can fall into this category. I really enjoy this series. Try it, i hope you like it too. It's a YA series, just to let you know.
