Have you ever read a book that sounds so thrilling you think you are in a cinema watching it? Fae in the Shadows by Summer Lynn Currier is a book that will put you in a movie atmosphere.

Rosalind, a Faerie princess, who is to be the next queen, leaves her world for the Otherworld, the human world and lands in Ireland. She meets a man named Veren and falls in love with him. Rosalind births a girl child, Silenia, through mysterious means after waiting for a child with Veren. Silenia grew up to become a stranger in the human world. She keeps having nightmares of people she has never met. Silenia’s friends, Noctis, Ava, Ventrys, Weylin, and Trenton, made school lively for her, which helped take her mind off the nightmares she kept having. Trenton discovers her ordeal and persuades her parents to reveal the truth of her birth to her. What do you think Silenia’s parents have to say to her? Why does she keep seeing strange things in her dreams? Find out in this suspenseful book answers that will amaze you.

Fae in the Shadows by Summer Lynn Currier is a 78-page book focusing on magic, love and fantasy. The author divided the book into short chapters that got me glued to the end. I enjoyed the part where Trenton drank Silenia’s blood. I was captivated by the book at that moment because it felt as if I was watching a movie. It felt comforting that Trenton and Nan were able to know when Silenia was in trouble. I love the author’s writing style. It was clear and legible. The book was professionally well-edited, as I found only a single error while reading.

However, there are some things I dislike about this book. The book did not have a cover page. It started with a prologue which made the book look empty. The author did not number the book. I had to make use of a reading tool to keep track of my reading progress. The author did not end the story well and gave no information about the next book containing the rest. Therefore, I rate this book four out of five stars because of the negative reasons mentioned above.

I recommend this book to lovers of movies and magic books. The book is suitable for all readers, young and old. But if you get scared reading about vampires and zombies, I would advise you not to bother reading it.

It seems like an interesting plot, even if it's too short, 78 pages isn't exactly long to develop much. Great review, thank you.

The truth can definitely set people free. If Silenia's parents told her the truth about her birth and everything, they would save her from a lot of agonizing endless questions running through her mind. Your review is amazing, keep up the good work.

This review of Fae in the Shadows is a great balance of summary and analysis. It gave me enough information to get a feel for the book without giving away too much. I'm attracted by the fact that it will feel like I am watching a movie while I am reading the book. I'm really looking forward to reading this one and forming my own opinions on the characters and plot.

This seems like an engaging fantasy short novel that uses some classic tropes of this genre to create a story that's almost like a screenplay for a movie. Thank you for your great review!

Indeed this story's plot looks like what I've watched in a movie. Moving from another world to the human world and birthing a child there is a concept I would love to know more on. The review was detailed as always. Congrats on publication.

As the reviewer said, reading this book was like watching a movie. Rosalind gives birth after moving to another world. What becomes the fate of this young child? I enjoyed reading this book. Thanks for the review.

This book has very mysterious and it has an eerie feeling to it. It also has a cover page that gives off that feeling. However, it seems to have an interesting plot. I am looking forward to reading this book.
