Athena Stamelou’s The Last of the Time Lords is an entertaining fantasy. The author has skillfully crafted a captivating plot with an inherent quality that truly enthralls the readers, drawing them into the enticing story. The multitude of names given to the various characters that appear throughout the story, as it slowly unfolds, adds depth and richness to the fantasy. This not only enhances the development of the characters themselves but also contributes to the intricate world that is being created. The intricate narrative journey of the characters keenly draws the readers, adding to the immersive experience of reading this fantasy story.

Mystic creatures long lost to the folklores were coming to cross paths with Noemi—the Bounty Hunter. The most intriguing aspect, among many other attributes of her astounding persona, is her violet eyes. As Noemi listens to her heart and ventures into the unknown world, she replenishes the story by exploring many beautiful creatures and races unknown to her earlier. Her journey is filled with relaxation and the thrill of finding the peaceful Nialiv. She is mesmerized by its beauty and serenity. Noemi was acutely aware of the perils that might be ahead of her as a Bounty Hunter, which perfectly complemented her insatiable curiosity.

She finds a unique solace and intriguing strength in her partnership with Grav, even though they have their fair share of differences while striving to achieve arduous tasks. Their incredible relationship is endearing to read. Noemi is truly thrilled by this incredible new job, and as she delves deeper, she gradually uncovers serene and ancient secrets that are simply mesmerizing. Noemi is acutely aware of the dangers of exploring unfamiliar territory and is carefully protecting herself from any unpleasant surprises that might occur. Despite her determination, she remained oblivious to the presence of other formidable competitors who were equally eager to locate the artifact.

The energy of the Bounty Hunter comes back as she rises from the deep trenches of self-doubt and negativity. Her determination and resolve to succeed shines through as she overcomes her internal struggles. Her search leads her to the ancient secrets about the Time Lords. Encountering Novah, the last Time Lord leaves Noemi utterly overwhelmed. Novah urgently requires help, which only increases the level of mystery and urgency surrounding the situation. Noemi didn't want to stumble into a conspiracy, but her search drags her into an enthralling web of an unprecedented war. Little did she know that her decisions would hold the power to shape the destinies of countless planets. There are other fascinating characters with incredibly magnificent stories that all intertwine with Naomi. Does Novah get to find his resolve and save the Universe from the imminent wrath of the demons? Who were these formidable demons that held immense power over the Time Lord?

As tension builds to a crescendo, the author skillfully introduces additional elements of surprise, further heightening the intensity of the story. And by incorporating additional details about the characters as the plot intensifies, the author ensures that the readers are thoroughly involved, living the wishful search for the powerful artifact. This approach heightens the overall impact of the story and leaves a lasting impression on the readers. The author's skill in intertwining parallel plots is highly entertaining and refreshing; it rejuvenates the story as well as keeps the pace boosted. The author switches to a second person point of view occasionally in the narrative, making the reader even more engrossed in the story’s constantly building suspense.

I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars, considering the author's ingenuity in crafting an expansive fantasy world and an incredible story. However, I have reduced the rating because of the errors in the book. I would recommend the book to fans of entertaining fantasy.

This is such a well-written review, and sounds almost to be as good as the book itself. I found myself drawn into the intrigue of this book, and I haven't even read it yet! Thank you for your review :)

I had an initial struggle to accept that this is not a Doctor Who novel. :D This fantasy novel seems well-constructed with great care for world-building, so It's a shame that there wasn't the same care for proofreading. I hope the errors are not distracting, as the story seems engaging. Thank you for your great review!
Ciao :)
