Review: Cinderella Dressed in Ashes (Book 2 in Grimm Diaries

Post by [nette] »

Cerené is a Slave Maiden that works for the royal family in the Kingdom of Sorrow. Although it is forbidden, she has managed to become friends with the Princess of Sorrow; Snow White.

Snow White will be mesmerized by the abilities that Cerené possesses, but even more so when Snow White finds out the true identity of Cerené; and will be forever in the embrace of Cerené's friendship.

But now their friendship will be tested with the many obstacles Cerené and Snow White face together; and although their friendship may seem strong, the decision of Snow White choosing to save her former lover, herself, or Cerené will tear Snow White apart and she will have to make the hardest decision of her life.

Will Cerené forgive Snow White if she chooses not to save her, or will she accept a destiny that was chosen for her long ago.

@nette, did you enjoy reading the book? I assume since you posted the review on here that you liked it, but just making sure. :-)

Yes I did so very much. The first one I did a review on as well, but the third book has not been released yet; and they keep moving the date. So for warning you if you get started and have to wait for the third book. :) but yes I enjoyed them tremendously.

I have a massive list of books to read right now. So, this one is going on the list too, just with a little note for me to wait on it. :-) Thanks for the suggestion!

I am always looking for new book suggestions, since I tend to burn through books like crazy. This series sounds really interesting. It might have to be my next read.
