There are different levels of conflict and the attempt to understand the reasons of the various parties is a key point of this novel. Thank you for your appreciation!

I'll just tell you that Avva has her hands full with her child and much more! Thank you for commenting!Chinazo Anozie wrote: ↑19 Jun 2024, 02:01 I love fantasies, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this book. I can already empathise with Avva and wonder how she'll handle the pregnancy. Thank you for your review!

While the same themes can be found in other literary works, the style is indeed special. Thank you for commenting!

There's more of a dash of magic in this novel, and not all good. In a novel like this one, the leaps ahead in time can stretch the feeling of being in a realm beyond the human realm but I understand that not everybody likes that. Thank you for commenting!Stephen Christopher 1 wrote: ↑25 Jun 2024, 22:41 Oh, jumping around in time within a chapter is one of my pet peeves lol; I hate having to go back and re-read a paragraph to figure out where I am in the story. I'm seeing a lot of this lately, maybe it's a new style of writing, but not one I'm comfortable with. I'll skip this one, so thanks for the heads-up.
