"Olympus Bound" by Zoë Routh is a fictional novel that touches on many areas of human life and explores our potential coexistence with artificial intelligence, robots, in the future. The novel revolves around a group of individuals led by Commander Xanthe Waters who explore the moon in search of a means to make it habitable for humans. Throughout the story, we are exposed to power struggles among nations such as America, Russia, and China, as they vie for global dominance at the expense of others. After spending nine months on the moon, the Olympus crew is eager to return home. However, they felt compelled to stay and protect the moon when they realized that their earth leaders had changed the focus from habituating the moon to acquiring Helium-3 for control and destruction. Despite the risks to their lives and loved ones, they choose to stay and defend the moon. At the core of the story is the collective desire of both the Chinese crew led by Colonel Jin and the American crew Olympus, led by Xanthe, to prevent their leaders from accessing Helium-3 on the moon to wreak havoc on Earth. However, this task the crews volunteer themselves to carry out won't be begging for a cup of sugar, as a bloody fight for dominance is on the horizon. Delve into the book, Olympus Bound, and witness how the plot unravels between the malevolent and benevolent intentions.

I agree, the author has done a commendable job in crafting an entertaining yet thought-provoking piece. The exploration of the quest for ultimate power and its consequences, such as betrayal and greed, adds depth to the narrative. The portrayal of unity in addressing global issues, exemplified by the cooperation between the crews of the Chinese Red Star and the American Olympus, sends a powerful message about the importance of collaboration in safeguarding the world.

Additionally, the novel's exploration of the significance of artificial intelligence to humanity is both informative and educational. By showcasing the potential of robots to emulate human behavior, especially through the creation of a robot modeled after a former Russian president, the story prompts readers to consider the implications of advancing AI technology.

The novel explores relatable elements in various scenes, such as Serena's exhibition of a high level of mistrust in the Olympus team and Colonel Jin's distrust from the Chinese and Red Star crews. These instances shed light on the darker aspects of everyday human behavior. Literarily, the book is exceptionally well-edited, as no grammar errors were found. Additionally, there isn't an area I dislike about the book. Hence, I'll rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

The novel will be best suited for adults, particularly those aged 25 and above, as it serves to educate, prepare, and teach them about the importance of democracy, unity, togetherness, and teamwork for the progress of the world.

This novel seems to offer a lot of food for thought concerning the future. New technologies can bring humanity to the stars but that's useless if human behavior is still motivated by hunger for power, greed, and other negative emotions. Thank you for your great review!
