Review of Anthros Galactica - The League of Psions
Anthros Galactica - The League of Psions by Erik P. Antoni is the third book in a series of science-fiction novels. This book continues the story of the Orion Empire and the Omicron Order. The story takes place during the ancient history of the Milky Way Galaxy. The Orion Empire and the Omicron order are vastly different in leadership and vision for the future of the galaxy. General Cyrus Urlex has risen to become the supreme ruler of the Scorpius Republic. He is also the leader of a secret cult that sacrifices virgins on a stone altar. His rise to power creates concern throughout the galaxy. The Omicron Order’s greatest nemesis is the Orion Empire. Throughout the series, readers can witness the rise of the Omicron Order and General Urlex. This installment of the series adds a new supernatural dimension.
This third book in the series focuses on supernatural powers that enable communication between individuals through thoughts and artificial intelligence. This new development allowed the members of the Orion Empire to challenge General Urlex in ways that were not possible previously. Despite being in separate locations, they can plan strategy and assist one another as they engage as a united force.
What I liked most about the book was the creativity the author used to develop these supernatural aspects of the story. They are described in scientific terms and become completely believable. They advance the story and add to the fantasy elements that will keep readers engrossed in the action. I also enjoyed reading the battle scenes. The author conveyed the urgency and excitement exceptionally well for readers. Readers will enjoy being caught up in the action of the battle scenes. There was nothing that I disliked about this book.
I recommend this book to readers who enjoy science fiction and fantasy stories. Some sexual situations in the story might be offensive or inappropriate for young readers. However, the story was interesting and kept me engaged throughout the book. The author did an excellent job of creating a new world in great detail. From the intricate details of the different planets to the specific characteristics of each of the various life forms, Antoni’s attention to detail allows readers to easily visualize the story. In addition, he has included a reference guide with descriptions and drawings of the aliens. This addition to the book will assist readers in distinguishing between the characters. For these reasons, I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.
