Do you like books that are more Sci-Fi with aliens, robots, time machines, other planets and the future (including dystopian society books such as “Divergent” and “Hunger Games”) or more Fantasy with dragons, fairies, demons, vampires, werewolves, pixies, leprechauns and just all imagination. Sci-Fi and Fantasy are always said as one genre because they are similar but they are still very different in many ways. So I was wondering what you like more?
I think that Sci-Fi and Fantasy both require the same amount of imagination, to dream up technology that hasn't been invented is not an easy task, at least if you want your book to stand out. But to answer your question, I like fantasy slightly more. There's an appeal for me to read about something that I'll never encounter in real life, and sci-fi gadgets always have the potential to be created in real life.
Personally I prefer fantasy stuff to do with magic and powers over anything else but that's mainly because I love the escaping into books where the world is totally different to ours and so are the physics or 'universal rules'.
