She's had a hard sad life growing up losing her Mother Eira who had elemental powers of ice and her sister Anabella to a woman named Mab who had the powers of fire and ran the underworld after she had killed the overlord who ran it before her Mab had terriozed many people and killed many before Gin was able to revenge her mother and sisters death by killing Mab. Now on the verge of retirement from being an assassin there's a new threat even though she's dealt with a lot of threats from overlords,vampires and Drawfs trying to get back at her for killing someone they loved.
This threat will definitely be harder for her especially because it deals with her heart and her now love of her life boyfriend Owen. She learns that his ex-love and fiancé Salina who has powers of water element is back in town and wants revenge for her fathers death and her love back with Owen.
Can Gin save the people she loves without losing Owen in the process? Can she kill Salina without killing the love her and Owen share or will Salina win and Kill Gin? I rate this book 4 stars. Find out what happens get this book.
