I am not a big fan of Star Wars but I do enjoy science fiction. The review and the sample left me wondering about the essence of life that jumped into another life form before it completely died out.
Thank you for the interesting review.

The review gives an impression of the book. The story, despite its length, seems to have some interesting elements. Fantasy, games and adventure. I think many readers will enjoy reading it. Congrats on BOTD

This is not something that I would read unfortunately. I'm not a big fan of sci-fi and although thise sounds interesting, I do know that I would lose interest in the book not even halfway through. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD.

Dungias is an oddball, but what's interesting is how he discovers his place in the universe, and how those around him also play a role in his story.

Excellent book! I read it years ago and still remember it quite fondly. The length didn't matter too much for me because it was fast-paced and action-packed, though I was a bit intimidated at first by the size)) On a more serious note, the reviewer did a great job by outlining the cons and pros of this story, and I agree that it was worth every second and a source of great enjoyment. Congratulations on BOTD!

There's a lot that seems to be going on in Star Chaser by Reiter. I love Lord of the Rings, so I'm pretty sure I'll feel right at home with Dungias and his crew.

“Star Chaser” by Reiter delivers an exhilarating experience filled with relentless action and minimal exposition. Dungias’s journey, marked by his unique traits and encounters with Nugar, captivates readers. The immersive narrative keeps the pace thrilling, making it a worthwhile read despite its length. A truly engaging adventure!

"Star Chaser: The Traveler" by Reiter is the prelude to the “Beyond the Outer Rim” six book series. This first book is 600 pages and it has a lot of action without explanation. What motivates me to want to read this book is the recommendation made by the official reviewer to readers that enjoy Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. The main character is Dungias, a man with weird characteristics. He is a member of the Malgovi race but he was considered an outcast since he lacks the power possessed by his ancestors. He was branded a shay-spawn which is a demented member of society. Dungias is cunning, courageous and he has an outsider’s view of the universe and he is trying to establish a new role for himself, he wanted to become the Traveler. His inability to manipulate iro, the societies word for energy, is what caused his being an outcast. Dungias embarks on a multi-dimensional journey through space where he will make friends and foes. His technological skills and his focus on improving skills that his Malgovi people have forgotten will definitely help him on his quest. The sample is very good and I look forward to reading the remainder of the book.

"Star Chaser" by Reiter follows the character, Dungias, whose technological mastery compensates for his inability to summon and control energy, leading him to a new path as the Traveller. The story is said to be full of mystery and adventure as Dungias sets out on his multi-dimensional journey through space. Congrats on BOTD!

Star Chaser seems like a great sci-fi novel. The book is quite lengthy but worth reading. The author seems to have done a great job with world building and character development. Plus, the plot seems captivating. I agree that graphics and illustrations should've been added to aid in visualization.
