Review of Entangled Worlds
In a world where colors hold meaning beyond what is beautiful, Entangled Worlds by Melina Hansen takes readers to a land divided by strengths—but aligned by destiny. It's a thoughtful and imaginative book combining fantasy, emotions, and collaboration, making it an important read for young readers and adults.
The novel is set in a magical world called Chromantia, divided into three provinces—Blue, Yellow, and Red. Each land is powerful in something: the Blue Province is powerful in constructing and reasoning, replete with gears, machines, and hammers. The Yellow Province is a kingdom of endless imagination and creativity, where ideas explode like the sunflowers that cover its fields. The Red Province is resilient in heart, passion, and power of connection. Each of the leaders rules with pride over his kingdom, but when a dark unknown threat looms over Chromantia, they are compelled to come together to save their world. Will they set aside their differences in time? Or will the darkness consume them?
What I enjoyed most about the book is the way it shows that no one person or group of people is complete by themselves. You require creativity, logic, and emotion together to deal with actual problems. The book presents this message in a straightforward yet strong manner. It shows young readers the importance of teamwork, empathy, and appreciating others—even when they are different from you. The conversation and narration are straightforward to understand, so it's ideal for classroom reading and discussions.
The book itself has a few small illustrations, but the power is actually in the message and how the story encourages readers to look outside of themselves. That being said, something that I did not care for personally was that there were repetitive moments within the story, and some of the portions were slow-paced. Some action or some more diversity could have made it even better.
However, overall, Entangled Worlds is a worthwhile and inspiring read. The book was also professionally edited, as I found no errors while reading it. I would give it a rating of 4 out of 5. The story offers valuable lessons in a simple manner, and it gives readers something worthwhile to think about: that if we pool our strengths, we can accomplish great things.
I would strongly suggest this book to those who enjoy rich fantasy tales and to educators seeking a book that will instruct their students in the value of cooperation, empathy, and respect for others' opinions. It's not just a tale—it's a lesson in unity.

I'm not into fantasy fiction, but really liked the concept, how the messages are put together creatively in the plot and how well you have brought it out in your review. Congrats on getting it "featured". Well-deserved!!The Keeper Jr wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025, 01:05 [Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Entangled Worlds" by Melina Hansen.]

One question I had was, was there a reason for the point deduction in your rating? Or was it based on how you felt about the book, in general?
Thankyou!

Coming from someone outside the fantasy crowd, that means a lot! Yeah, the feature was a lovely surprise, and your support makes it even sweeter.Neha Panikar wrote: ↑10 Apr 2025, 13:32 I'm not into fantasy fiction, but really liked the concept, how the messages are put together creatively in the plot and how well you have brought it out in your review. Yes, the point deduction was based on some repetitiveness in the story, which I felt made the pace a little slower. I see now that I've vaguely mentioned this, and I could talk more about it. Thanks again for your kind words! Your words mean more than you know.

Yes, it does offer a mix of fantasy with valuable life lessons. One important detail that I failed to mention in the review actually makes it even more interesting. I don't wanna give spoilers but readers of this book will know it. Thanks for stopping by as always!

This a a great lesson for the readers to be reminded of. Kudos to Melina Hansen for this worldbuilding based on color.
