Re: Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time
At some points near the middle of the series, Jordan became pretty long-winded and started spinning wheels, but after his death and subsequent take-over of the last three books by Brandon Sanderson, there is no series with a better closing sequence. The end of the Wheel of Time stands out to me as one of the best climaxes to any story ever, making WoT my favorite story, hands down.
Man got to sit and wonder 'why, why, why?'
