Nice review. I am not a fan of fantasy or sci-fi, so this isn't a book for me. The numerous errors in the book would have put me off anyway. One thing that I noticed is that the audience for this book is stated from baby to 18-year-old, yet I read several instances of profanity in the first couple of pages. I don't think it's rated for the proper audience.

Definitely not my cup of tea, not only because I am not a fan of Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre, but because the story about a child being broken by his own parents, who bullied and abused him to the extent of a very low opinion of himself and his abilities, isn't something I would like to dedicate my time. Sorry and congrats!

This is feels like the book I would typically read, I love how this review can capture one's interest. This made me actually curious about what's going to happen to the main character's life. :D

What a poetic fantasy! The book's cover beautifully caught my attention. It seemed like I could feel the book was filled with magical healing. Although this book needs another round of editing, the storytelling and character development are promising. I know someone can relate to Ori but somehow still be waiting for a miracle to save them from the hardship of life. Great review!

Does the violin music play a big role in Light Goddess’s magic? Also, I’m wondering how intense the fantasy elements get. Like, are we talking gentle enchantment or full-blown fairyland world-building?
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

Light Goddess beautifully blends magic and self-discovery, following Ori, a resilient young boy who, despite enduring bullying and abuse, finds hope and transformation through his encounter with Florithena, the Light Goddess, in a lyrical, mystical fairyland.

'Official Review: Light Goddess' by Chloris Athena presents a clear picture of the fantasy tale's plot. The story follows the life of Ori, a boy burdened by the hardship of life. It is a mix of magic and discovery. Ori never allows his situation to overshadow his love for music and playing violin. Florithena, the light Goddess, offers him a path toward transformation and self-acceptance. The book is filled with different mystical beings and celestial melodies. It was great to learn that this is a poetic fantasy!

I wish Ori had better parents to start with, maybe he would have experienced a better childhood. I would love to know his true story and how his life turned out. Congratulations on the book of the day.

However, despite the strengths of the book, reading it is a challenge because it leans more on describing elements and scenes, which makes the book feel too dense and slow-paced. Another thing I consider a downside is the presence of errors in the book; the errors affected my reading experience, especially at the beginning of the book, which shows that the book lacks proper editing and could benefit more from further refining to ensure clarity. As a result, I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars, deducting one star mainly for the errors in the book and the slow-paced progression.
I love the idea of fighting for your right to create art and beauty. It's very 1900s. However, I don't enjoy lengthy descriptions or excessive fantasy elements. I wish this were set in the real world. Thank you for your honest review.

"Light Goddess: Flower Sea" by Cloris Athena is a richly imaginative epic fantasy novel that transports readers into a dazzling world of magic, myth, and celestial conflict.

This story is full of magic, mythical beings, and beautiful lessons. It's all shown through the eyes of a child who was harassed by his parents and abused. This book has excellent narration and writing; it conveys a beautiful story that encourages self-knowledge and self-appreciation, and highlights many important values.

This heartfelt review captures the emotional depth and lyrical beauty of Light Goddess, highlighting Ori’s inspiring journey through trauma, music, and transformation. While praising the evocative writing and character development, it also notes the book’s pacing issues and editing flaws. A moving, magical tale that still shines despite its imperfections.

I wish Ori had the kind of parents who could see his gentle heart and love for music. It's painful knowing he still tried to justify their actions. The bond with his grandma and the warmth Florithena brings sound like the heart of this story. Congrats on BOTD!
