Poss. Spoilers/ REVIEW 'Airbound' Christine Feehan

'Air bound' (Sisters of the Heart #3)

I wanted to wait until I finished all 3 books: Water Bound, Spirit Bound and Air Bound before I reviewed them since they go together. Since there are 6 'sisters' in the books though, I sincerely hope there will be 3 more books. The Bound books are all set in Sea Haven, (It sounds as if its on the West Coast but never names a specific state) which is where the Drake Sisters books were also set. Airiana, Lissa, Blythe, Rikki, Judith and Lexi are sisters of the heart rather than blood, being brought together by devastating tragedies each of them suffered. Airiana is the main focus of this story, being kidnapped by mercenaries who believe she can control a weather machine and arm it as a WMD. She is a weather element, like her sisters, her element being air. She meets another of the Prakenskii brothers that we've met in past books. (Joely Drake, Rikki and Judith all met, fell in love with and married Prakenskii brothers) All of these brothers were taken hostage by the Russian government after their parents were murdered and trained from early childhood as mercenaries. As the story progresses, we learn that Maxim Prakenskii was really hired to bring Airiana to meet her real father, a brilliant Russian scientist, not realizing that the man planned on killing Maxim and taking Airiana back to Russia. There is a lot of action, killing and adventure but also the mysticism and romance and love scenes that Christine Feehan is known for. To go into much more detail would give away too much of the story. I think anyone that likes this genre or has read Ms Feehan before will enjoy the Sea Haven novels. I hope they continue with the rest of the sisters
