Has anyone read anything by Meredith Ann Pierce?

I was going through my bookshelf today, looking up titles I haven't read in a while and I came across Birth of the Firebringer, book 1 in The Firebringer Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce. I got this book a long time ago, when I was still in highschool and I remember just how much fun I had reading it. The characters, the writing style and the world entranced me. It is not everyday I read about warrior unicorns :) . So I wanted to know if anybody else had read the series or anything else by Meredith Ann Pierce :?: . I don't usually see her on fantasy recommendations or see The Firebringer Trilogy on anyone's bookshelves. I, myself am not familiar with any other works she has done. Does anyone have any recommendations?
