Dark Innocence: The Star-Seer's Prophecy by Rahima Warren

This book was very hard for me to gt through. At times the story flowed and I got into it, at others it was very slow or the grammatical errors stopped me and made it hard to continue.
However, that being said, it was a great story line. Kyr was once a slave, tormented by the Master, and in turn tormenting and killing others. After he was freed he had to learn everything over. How t be kind, what a friend is, what love is... But how can he do that when he suns from a simple touch and blames himself for the evil that he inflicted....
I am tempted to read the second book to see how the story ends, hoping it will be a better read
